Liberal Candidate for Reid
An elected Dutton Liberal Government has committed to enhancing community safety at Central Park in Concord by investing in lighting, CCTV and fencing upgrades.
Liberal candidate for Reid, Grange Chung, said this commitment for vital safety upgrades will allow young families, members of the 1st Cabarita Mortlake Scout Group, and all Concord locals to make use of Central Park in the evenings with the peace of mind that comes from enhanced safety measures.
“I’ve heard from many parents and Concord locals about the need for enhanced safety at Central Park and this commitment will deliver that,” Mr Chung said.
Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash, present for the commitment announcement, praised Grange Chung for his responsiveness to the needs of Concord families.
“Grange’s commitment to making Concord a safer place is clear,” said Senator Cash.
“Grange understands what matters most to Reid and he is already getting results.”
Melissa McIntosh MP also welcomed the investment and commended Grange Chung’s strong advocacy for his community.
“Safe community spaces are essential to local families and Grange has been working tirelessly to deliver this commitment,” said Mrs McIntosh.
“I will always fight for what Reid needs and safety will always be a priority for me,” said Mr Chung.
