An elected Dutton Coalition Government has committed to delivering a revitalised HOPE Multicultural Hub in Blacktown – a project operated by the Harman Foundation.
Liberal candidate for Greenway, Rattan Virk, said this $250,000 commitment will cement the HOPE Multicultural Hub as a single stop for vulnerable migrant communities by upgrading its existing facilities, broadening its service offering, and expanding its outreach capabilities.
"This commitment is in direct response to a need identified by our community,” said Dr Virk.
“For over 12 years, the Harman Foundation has been assisting families in Greenway – an area rich in linguistic and cultural diversity – where accessing support services can otherwise be challenging.”
Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash said that a Dutton Coalition Government is prepared to invest in projects that are vital to improving community safety outcomes.
“Having spoken to representatives of the Harman Foundation today, I know this commitment will make a real difference to the lives of many Blacktown families,” said Senator Cash.
Senator James Paterson said under a Dutton Coalition Government, the Greenway community will be stronger, more secure, and better supported to tackle crime.
“Getting Australia Back on Track means keeping Australia safe – safe for families, safe for businesses, and safe for communities,” said Senator Paterson.
