Meet
Matt
Shadow Assistant Minister for Education, Shadow Assistant Minister for Government Accountability, Member for Davidson
Our community has been well served by Jonathan O’Dea and now with Jonathan’s support, Matt Cross is standing to continue Jonathan’s work as Davidson’s voice in the NSW Parliament.
Raised on the upper north shore, Matt attended St Leo’s Catholic College Wahroonga and now with his wife Gessika, Matt is proud to call Lindfield home.
Matt is passionate about delivering better policies and ideas to improve local communities and our state. With a Master of Public Administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School, Matt has worked for former NSW Premiers, not-for-profit organisations and in corporate roles, including The George Institute for Global Health and KPMG Australia.
Community service has always driven Matt - that’s what inspired him to join St Ives Rotary Club where he serves as a director, as well as supporting Lifeline raising funds and awareness for suicide prevention by running marathons and trekking the Kokoda Trail.
Matt will use his experience and passion to fight for our community, to prevent overdevelopment, promote our environment and protect our community’s character for future generations. And as part of a team that can deliver real change, Matt will continue Johnathan O’Dea’s work getting things done - not just locally but for NSW.
