Jo van der Plaat is your Liberal candidate for Eden-Monaro.
Jo van der Plaat is a Cooma local with deep ties to her community. She grew up on the Monaro and with her husband, raised their two children on a small farm outside Cooma.
As a lawyer, Jo is respected right across Eden-Monaro for her ability to create solutions and acts for many of the most vulnerable across southern NSW. She has driven policy reform for regional areas as the President of the Law Society of NSW.
Jo is an active member of the Dry Plains Rural Fire Brigade and has been a board member of a range of national and local organisations, including in rural aged care, education, insurance , tourism and legal reform.
As a small business owner and a parent, Jo understands the pressures of running a business and managing the household budget. With your support, Jo will be a strong, active voice in a better government that delivers practical outcomes for Eden-Monaro.
