Emma King is a proud Lake Macquarie local and has called our region home with her husband and family for ten years. She’s deeply invested in our community’s future and is committed to fighting for local residents. 

With a professional background in the manufacturing industry, and as part of a family business, Emma understands the diverse range of business and industry across our region, and the role small business plays as the driver of local jobs and opportunity. 

Raising a young family, Emma knows the challenges facing our community, including the rising cost of living, access to essential services and the need to invest in road and rail to support jobs and improve commutes for locals. 

Emma will be a strong voice for Shortland, bringing real-world experience, a proven strong work ethic and passion to give back to the community.
